We feel so incredibly fortunate to have worked with Steve and his crew. He was so passionate about the job, organized and honest. He was always responsive at every step of the way and even when there were a few unexpected surprises, he calmly handled them. I believe it says a lot when all the subcontractors we spoke with said he was their favorite builder to work with because he treated every one fairly and always knew exactly who was doing what at any given time, in addition to being so knowledgeable about what they were doing.

We could not have asked for a better final outcome. We have built a home before and the process was unpleasant so the comparison is amazing. We gutted our current home so we expected even a more difficult process, which never transpired. Within a week of moving in, we were receiving phone calls and e-mails asking if there was anything that needed to be tweaked or whether anything needed to be explained to us. Steve continues to be highly responsive and accessible so that if anything requires repairing or adjusting, he sends someone out immediately.

It is rare to have an outstanding relationship with your builder when a building project is finished because the process can be so stressful, but Steve made it easy. His knowledge and strong moral compass in addition to his sense of humor made the project go so smoothly. If we ever needed to do anything else to our home, we would not do it unless Steve was involved. He is a very rare and special builder in that he works so hard and takes so much pride in his work. We would highly recommend him to anyone building or remodeling their home. We could not be happier in our dream home.

We worked with Auchter Construction on our kitchen remodeling project. We were thrilled with the result. Steve was so great to work with. He made sure it all ran smoothly. Contracters were there when he said they would and if there was any delay, Steve was sure we were aware of the delay and the reason for it.
